Dorene Dominguez, President of the Vanir Group of Companies, Inc. which have successfully completed over $10 billion in real estate development, design-build lease, and construction services was the featured speaker at the May 25th CHCCLI Speaker Series event.
Over 50 CHCCLI members and guests had a rare opportunity to hear first hand from Ms. Dominguez, President of the Vanir Group of Companies, Inc. as she shared her experiences of taking over a family owned business founded by her father, H. Frank Dominguez at age 25 in San Bernardino, CA .

Much of Ms. Dominguez success is based on the principles she learned from her father, including having strong ethics, respect, and delegating, which helps build rapport.

Strong civic partners are those that give back to their community. The Vanir Foundation was created for this purpose and in memory of founder H. Frank Dominguez.

Dorene Dominguez, President
Dorene Dominguez, a graduate of Notre Dame University, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Finance.
She is the President of the Vanir Group of Companies, Inc. The Vanir Companies, which includes Vanir Development Company, Inc. and Vanir Construction Management, Inc. have successfully completed over $10 billion in real estate development, design-build lease, and construction services.
Vanir Construction Management has been consistently ranked by Engineering News Record Magazine as one of the top construction management firms in the nation.
Ms. Dominguez recently launched Vanir Energy, LLC, a green initiative specializing in solar thermal energy. Currently she is an active member of various community improvement projects, boards and commissions. She is a member of the Young Presidents Organization Santa Monica Bay Chapter and serves on the Board of Directors for American River Bank, New America Alliance, PRIDE Industries, SUCCEED Academy, and at the University of Notre Dame Institute for Latino Studies Advisory Council.
Ms. Dominguez founded the Vanir Foundation which partners with elementary schools to improve math, science and language arts.
