Past Board Member - Maria Murray
Maria Murray had been a board member of the California Hispanic Corporate Council Leadership Institute since 1996. She previously served as treasurer and secretary.
Maria is a Principal Public Affairs Representative with the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and has been with the agency for 20 years. She is past president of MWD's Hispanic Employees Association.
An Alhambra resident, Maria is currently serving her second term on the City's Planning Commission. Maria previously served eight years on the Alhambra Parks and Recreation Commission, including two years as president.
Her prior community involvement includes: PTA president; member of an Alhambra Board of Education Redistricting Committee; chairperson of a girl's soccer tournament in the San Gabriel Valley; co-chairperson of the first San Gabriel High School Girls' Soccer Team; and the Monterey Angels Baseball and Softball programs.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.
