Board Treasurer - Moises Rosiles
Mr. Rosiles is currently a Tax Manager with Mendoza Berger & Company, LLP. Mendoza Berger & Company is a Southern California based Certified Public Accounting Firm. The firm has operated for over ten years as a CPA and consulting practice. It specializes in auditing, accounting, management consulting and tax services for corporations, partnerships, individuals and tax-exempt entities.
Mr. Rosiles has been with Mendoza Berger for over four years as a tax manager and tax audit representative expert. He is currently in charge of supervising and managing a staff of accountants as well as providing tax planning and preparation for high net worth individuals and closely held corporations. In his current position, Mr. Rosiles has also served as a liaison between taxpayers and governmental collection agencies including the Internal Revenue Service and Franchise Tax Board.
Prior to joining Mendoza Berger & Company Mr. Rosiles worked for CCH Publishing as a tax systems analyst. In this position he developed tax preparation software for various states in the fiduciary tax department.
In addition, Mr. Rosiles currently sits as the newly elected Treasurer for the CA Hispanic Corporate Council Leadership Institute. He is also involved with the IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (VITA) as a Quality Review Supervisor at the Neighborhood Center in Santa Fe Springs. The VITA program assists low-income taxpayers by providing free tax preparation and consulting services.
Mr. Rosiles received a Master of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University and a Bachelors in International Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is also registered as an Enrolled Agent licensed to practice before the IRS and is currently a candidate member of the California Society of CPA’s.
