Council Leadership Institute (CHCCLI) partnered with the Fremont Gallery of Fine Art in its ongoing effort to support higher education in the Latino Community. The
Fremont Gallery of Fine Art has established itself as a
Premiere Art Gallery in Southern California showcasing renowned Latino Artists.
On Sunday, October 25 the original works of 22 Latino Artists were displayed and auctioned at this special event for both the Novice and Serious Art Collector. Individual art works ranged from $125 - $1,500.
At 1:00 the Gallery doors opened for registration and the bidding started. A variety of hors d'oeuvres, wine or other refreshments were served as the Master of Ceremonies and Art Historian Isabel Rojas-Williams guided attendees from 1:30 to 4:30 through a colorful and dynamic landscape of Latino Heritage depicted through Latino eyes and hands.
Ar 4:00 Latin Jazz Singer Lucho performed a couple of songs, followed by the highly acclaimed HARMONIES GIRLS CHOIR from Los Angeles.
Artwork bidding closed at 5:00, and an hour of Networking began at 5:30.
